I was invited to an interview about 2 weeks after submitting my application at my university's career fair. The interviewer was unprepared and I could tell from the start that he didnt care much about the interview. He asked me a few questions about projects and experience and then handed me an iPad with about 7 questions on it. Many of the questions were on SQL or other technologies that weren't listed on my resume. I could barely answer any of them. He then said "Yeah, we like to test you on stuff you don't learn in school." I kept thinking to myself how frustrating it was that he wasted my time. If I knew SQL I would have listed it on my resume.

Given a list of questions, and answered them aloud, demonstrating thought process. Some questions were a bit difficult, but ultimately, fairly straightforward. Interviewer helped through some questions, but generally allowed me to come to a solution myself. Interview was very friendly, and after the technical part of the interview, we talked about various other things, which really reinforced the friendly atmosphere of the company.

I was notified by the project manager about a week or two after applying. The interview took 30 minutes, most of the questions being behavioral and others being about the style of work at Novacoast.
