I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual in May 2009
Interview
Got in touch by a recruiter to come in and have a chance to have "1 of the top 10 internships" in the country. Talked on the phone, came in for 2 separate face to face interviews with recruiter. Rather easy process as they are at not loss for bringing in an intern (with it being all commission). Be open to working on commission, but realize don't have to settle for it. You get out what you put in.
Series of interviews that began with an information session, followed by a basic "get to know you" interview where you learn more about the position, followed by a final interview
Straight forward and easy. Consisted of a call and a zoom interview. First with a recruiter and then with a full time rep that was part of the internship. Fairly easy and straight forward.
Sales focused interview. Need to provide a list of 200 people and their contact info to pass the interview, and once you're hired you'll have to contact all those people.
