I interviewed at Northumbria Police (Bedlington, England)
Interview
Was interviewed by 2 women, and they seemed lovely. Asked me 6 questions in total, one of them about diversity, how would I report a colleague if they made a mistake, how do I deal with difficulty members of public etc. I failed because they didn’t ask me to give them an example, my fault, I used the star technique for all the others except the ones they said what would you do, and gave me feedback that I didn’t give them a example? Before the interview they emailed me the questions that they were going to ask to reduce nervousness. You are asked to come to the police station, and they ask you a few questions. Overall the whole interview was done in an hour.

I interviewed at Northumbria Police (Newcastle upon Tyne, England)
Interview
The interview process was 3 fold. first I was required to write a 10 minute presentation on integrity using past experience and my understanding of the code of ethics to which an inspector and a sergeant asked follow up questions. They were very kind and friendly.
Second came an assessment day that had me and a group of 30 do various tasks and exams, numeracy, literacy and role plays. This was a taxing day but with practice its easily passed.
Just after the assessment day was a second interview which for me was very informal and was more of a chat.
