Northern Virginia Magazine interview questions

After reviewing my resume, managing editor set up a time for an interview. I met with her and another editor in the office to discuss past employment, future goals and why I wanted to work there. The ME asked me questions about myself and my media and entertainment consumption.

The managing editor asked about my writing, editing, and interviewing experience. She gave me a few grammar, punctuation, style, et cetera, worksheets to work on that she would grade, and then she sent me on my way. It was a very short and simple process, and they offered me the job soon after. I think GlassDoor's reviews are (rightfully) discouraging people from applying to their unpaid, abusive internship, which is great.
