The interview panel consisted of two seasoned producers and a senior editor, and from the moment I entered the Zoom meeting, I felt welcomed and at ease.
What stood out to me the most was the depth of information they provided about the job role and the kind of projects Northern Lights is renowned for. It wasn't just about the basic job description; they delved into the heart of the company's ethos and the type of work they are passionate about. This not only helped me understand the role better but also gave me a glimpse into the company culture and values.
The questions they posed were directly related to the tasks and responsibilities associated with the job title. It was evident that they were keen on gauging my experience and skills in areas that mattered most for the role. What I particularly appreciated was the presence of the senior editor on the call. His insight added a valuable layer to the interview process, allowing for a more nuanced evaluation of my technical proficiency as an assistant editor.

I attended the interview on walkin by reference of nauckri and there was an two rounds.First round is f2f with some basic programs and query where they check our logical knowledge and second round is f2f with project manager where they mostly check our positive attitude like future goals,how we handling the pressure etc and some questions on our project.

Interview
I spent Rs 60 for parking charges and more for travel to attend the interview at a northern lights Chennai. Interview was good and easy which made me feel it was taken for name sake. They didn’t want to know the stuff I made in the current company. The thing that irritated me was being called for SDET role, I was asked if I would work in manual testing. Once interview was over, I was told hr would call me on the result which did not happen. The worst attitude for any company is denying the result of an interview. I would not recommend this company for a better interview experience.
