I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at North Plains Systems (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2017
Interview
The process was great from beginning to end - quick, expedient (F2F's were stacked in one afternoon) transparent - it felt more like a mutual review of our potential fit colleagues working towards a common goal than an interview. Process was phone screening with HR+Hiring Manger, F2F and final call with sales executive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
As I said, it was more of a mutual review of our potential partnership discussion than an interview. I was asked to detail my experience, but in a more conversational way that enabled me to shine a light on my professional wins. There were more standard behavioral questions towards the end but were things like 'what do we need to give you to succeed', 'in six months when we are thrilled with your progress, what is the one thing we will ask you to improve on' that really spoke again to the mutual respect for fit I felt throughout the process.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at North Plains Systems (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Was contacted by agency. In the interview I had Basic troubleshooting questions .Overall it was an easy process to get hired as it was an entry level position and no experience was needed.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at North Plains Systems (London, England) in Jan 2012
Interview
Conversation with HR, followed by a short technical test. Interviewees who pass this test then have a face to face interview with senior members from the web dev department. After this there is then a final interview with the head of that department to see if they believe you are a good fit for the team.
