The only thing required to pass after the temp agency I worked with found NAL was a 15 minute phone interview with the person who would be my direct manager. She talked with me for less than 10 minutes on the phone before she asked how soon I could start.
I started training the next morning. They did not care much about vetting future employees, and I later found out this was because they were used to a very quick turnover with employees, so they didn't care about taking the time to interview them properly anymore. Very sad, but extremely poor upper management decisions led me to leave the company for another within the year, so looking back I should have realized they cared very little, right from the start.
