I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Noom (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was fast paced in my experience. I applied for the job, was contacted within 48 hours and asked to record a 1 min video and answer a timed set of scenarios. Shortly after that I was asked to schedule a 1 hour mock coaching session and a few days after that I was told they were going to pursue other applicants. My background is in Exercise and Sport Science and in my opinion I did a great job coaching the difficult client in the mock session. As other reviews have noted, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why qualified individuals are not offered a job with Noom...
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
