Definitely the worst interview experience I've ever had! The interview lasted 1.5 hours, and this was the first stage which was meant to be an introductory chat. It felt like I was being interrogated for a crime that I did not commit. Honestly, at a point, I wondered if I had annoyed the interviewer in a past life. 80% of the questions I was asked were irrelevant to Tech Recruiting. Halfway through the interview, I already knew that I didn't want to work in such a company. If it was the last company on earth, I wouldn't go there. Of course, I never received feedback after the interview but I didn't care because I was not interested in working there. Advice to the recruiting team (that's if they even check Glassdoor reviews) - You will continue to lose out on amazing talent with such pointless interview process/questions. - Conduct interviewer training for hiring managers and senior leaders, and if possible, create a question bank that can serve as a guide for them. - Most of the candidates here have complained of poor candidate experience, and no feedback - figure out why this is happening. - Do a proper retro or audit on your hiring processes and actually improve them.

Question 1
1. If you are shopping on Amazon and you move an item to a cart, which microservices are used? (not sure how this is relevant for a tech recruiting role)
Hello, thank you for your honest feedback and for your time taken to apply to Nium. We are very sorry to hear that your interview experience was negative. However, we also acknowledge the importance of finding a good fit (on a personal level) when considering a new role, and it does sound like you were able to determine quite early on that Nium wasn’t going to be the best company culture fit for you – and we accept that Nium isn't for everyone. Wishing you all the best with your future career endeavours.
