      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NinjaTrader (Denver, CO) in Jun 2007

      Interview

Moved from Chicago to Denver for this job. So most of my interviews were via the telephone. I believe there were a total of 5 phone interviews. The phone interviews progressed for about one week. Then they flew me out to Denver to meet everyone. The offer was made a week later.

      Technical Support Interview

      3 Feb 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at NinjaTrader (Denver, CO) in Oct 2016

      Interview

I was approached by them for a position. I was extremely interested. I kept after my initial contact person and embarrassingly wrote a misspelled email that I thought doomed me. I did mention in said misspelled email that I had played in bands. I believe this and my education as a network engineer and my ability to talk to people got me the interview. When I came into the interview I dressed in a suit which isn't the vibe in some of these quasi startup Denver downtown jobs. There was a dude sleeping on the couch by the foosball machine. Pretty much knew I was screwed at that point. I had recently went back to school and achieved a degree as a Network administrator with classes in VMware etc after years of being an AV tech and labor lead for large corporate events and was beginning to notice that tech support pays better than entry IT. This was my first experience trying to get hired in one of these coveted cult of personality downton Denver maybe let you work from home beer Friday kinda places. And I've been pretty good with stock picks and was really interested in their product. They asked me a few technical questions and a bunch of dude bro band talk. I actually toured in bands and stuff. And have actually like built and was a technical liaison for artists like Paul McCartney so I thought those conversations were cute. I was kinda put out that they didn't even tell me that they demurred my possible employment, as they said they would. I have sense ended up at a REALLY great downtown beer Friday work from home sometimes kinda place so it was good practice. I think ninjatrader has a great potential. I wish them the best of luck.

      Technical Support Interview

      17 Jun 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NinjaTrader (Denver, CO) in Feb 2015

      Interview

The hiring process starts with a call from a member of management. An in person interview is then scheduled. In person, you typically talk to 2-4 people. Each individual interview lasts about 20-30 minutes. Nothing out of the ordinary. Some technical questions, some personal (outside of work activities and interests) questions. An opportunity to ask the interviewer about their role and the company.
