One phone interview and the offer came. I was fairly impressed at how easy the job was to get. Then again, when you have a security clearance, its pretty easy when background checks are so backed up.

They just wanted to know about experience and if I also knew how to move around in country from FOB to FOB
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Niitek (Charlottesville, VA) in Nov 2011
Interview
Short and only met with 2 people. We covered all asspects of what was expected of someone in this position. We then looked at the product that I would be supporting and improving.
Not terribly impressed. The HR lady was not there and that threw the entire schedule off. I ended up waiting over an hour in the lobby for subsequent interviews. The ME Manager was super nice and I really enjoyed our portion of the interview. The overall Engineering Manager (who I had to wait for) seemed like he just wanted to get our interview over with and get back to doing "important" things. Not very impressed with him. Seems like a decent company but think they wanted to hire some MEs for cheap.
