I applied online. I interviewed at Nigerian National Petroleum (Abuja, Federal Capital Territory) in Jan 2025
Interview
The people checking interviewees in were nice and welcoming, however the interviewers themself were openly bias, with one speaking local dialects with a fellow applicant.
I was the 5th in a group of 6, with the sixth person being a female. One of the interviewer ushered herin before me.
Another interviewer collected an applicant's phone number after the interview, seems they came from the same region because they switched to some dialect upon noticing I was looking at them.
My friend who had his interview a day before mine was asked by a staff in the elevator if he knew someone at NNPC and when he said, "No", .....
The questions were cheap but it was obvious the process was extremely manipulated.
I'd suggest a more if not completely computerized approach. The human element made nepotism and favouritism.

It was long and tideous. We were there as early as 7am, with our computers to take a CBT. The CBT was slated for one hour with 50 questions. The questions were mostly mathematical and spatial reasoning. After which we were given a bottle of water. Mind you, the exams did not begin until 10-11am cause the candidates totaled 45,000 plus nation wide.
