Nextpoint Software Engineer I interview questions

I recently had an online interview with Nextpoint, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The interviewer focused excessively on deep and obscure topics that are rarely encountered in day-to-day development work. If you're planning to attend this interview, be prepared for questions that are not typically part of regular development tasks and may not align with your practical experience. A humble suggestion to the interview panel: please approach interviews with the intention of identifying potential and hiring the right fit, rather than treating it as an exercise in grilling candidates.

I applied online, I was then contacted for a phone screening interview. The day before the interview they sent me an email saying they hired someone else. It is a total lack of respect and organization, how can you hire someone without even interviewing all the candidates.
