A few interviews over 2 weeks not too bad. I learned about the company and the product and was able to share my background. It was similar to other processes.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NewsWhip (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2019
Interview
I applied to the position through their website, I got the first call a couple days later, just an initial screening, asking about my experience, my career objectives, etc... The second call was a bit more deep into my previous experience, asking more about my technical experience. After that I got a homework assignment to complete.
The assignment doesn't specify which technology you should use, so it is a great opportunity to show your point of view on how to address an issue, which technologies and architecture you would adopt and why, improvements that could be done before sending the code to production, other considerations, etc...
The last part of the interviewing process was an in person interview. I was interviewed by three people, they asked about my experience, then a couple technical questions, and finally a case study, asking how I would approach the problem to provide a solution. One of the most relaxed interviews I ever had, really nice experience.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NewsWhip (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2016
Interview
* After seeing the job advertised online I applied with my CV and cover letter. The CTO told me about the role and the company.
* The next stage was a technical exam that was to be done remotely. There was a time limit on the exam and the question were well thought out and relative to the companies work area.
* Finally I had a face to face interview with the CTO and the Head of Software. The interview comprised of talking about myself and my expectations, as well as giving details about previous projects and jobs. There were some questions around teamwork and work ethic as well as some technical questions at the end and also a riddle.
