Useless process, unprofessional i/wer's.
Asking the current ctc in technical i/w.
I/wer was more interested in rejecting me after checking my expected and current ctc which was already written in HR's candidate form.
Neither asked to introduce myself nor gave his introduction started with current ctc and few vague problems, he didn't even checked my cv.
He gave me a vague problem in which there was jdbc resultset containing data from table and was asking me to optimise that.
I was expecting that super intelligent fellow can ask soon to print a matrix of size m*n in O(n) time.
Then I found a mistake in his code of adding in string object of java and suggested him for using StringBuilder and he offended by this answer and asked me why memory leak will occur on that then asked a hypothetical question on the scenario where gc ran but still objects are not sweeped by GC and when I told him about GC internal working he dodged the question.
Than he asked me why foreign key is needed , I answered him referential integrity and query also gets fast when runs on joins.
He tried to prove me wrong by providing any vague argument which didn't have any relation with any Normalization form and 1st thing came to my mind after listening his statement
“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”, so I accepted I may be wrong and than that fellow had a wicked smile.
Also in the mid he said there there will be no difference in execution time of query using subquery over join.
Next he asked me about views and took my answers relation to materialised views, this man himself wasn't aware of difference between views and materialised views.
At last he asked 1 logical puzzle 25 horses and 5 tracks find 3 fastest and I answered him correct.
But than he again tried to confuse me and I tried to answer as per his wish and later asked him whats the solution his reply was to try it, it's easy.
Advice to all who are planning to appear in this company and had ever worked in product company, think twice or thrice to appear in this company and don't waste your precious time to visit such hiring process rather prepare hard for any product company.
At last HR's were really nice and helpful, I really appreciate the way they worked.
