How would you describe the role of the nurse practitioner to a patient.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
Interview
Through zoom first. Very friendly and relaxed setting. Will go over the next steps of hiring, job description. Have room for questions. Usual interview questions, it is not difficult. Interviewer is very friendly and not intimidating.
I had a phone interview. I was called late and offered no apology and a vague explanation. The person I spoke with said that her assistant would be contacting me because they wanted to set up an in-person interview. I did not hear back for days, so I emailed the assistant and still received no response. I then checked on my application and it said I was no longer being considered. Wow. I’m sure the interviewer realized something in my app she’d missed (didn’t seem like she’d read my resume at all and she had poor attention to detail) that wouldn’t make me a good candidate after we spoke or they interviewed someone with more experience, but that is just low. Everyone experiences the, “oh yeah we’ll get back to you next week” lie, but to tell me there would absolutely be an in-person interview and then flat out ignore me? Basically ghosted by NY Presbyterian. Just want management to know how poorly their HR department treats potential candidates.
