Question 1
The interview focused on practical drone aerodynamics and real-world application of CFD tools. Key questions included airfoil selection for fixed-wing drones, effects of low Reynolds numbers, and evaluating flight stability. I was asked about past projects involving CFD (ANSYS/XFLR5), aerodynamic optimization, and UAV testing. They also discussed VTOL transition challenges and coordination with controls/mechanical teams. A scenario-based design task tested my approach to optimizing payload and endurance.
