I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life (Glendale, CA) in May 2016
Interview
I received the email from NYL that asking if I am interested in the position in NYL and asking me applied online with the resume. Then I applied online. The processing only took 15-20mins after I applied. I got a phone call from NYL, and scheduled interview on 3 days later. I came to the location and waited the recuriter more than 30mins and talked only 20mins with him. Then he asked me to do the assessment and said the result will not come out until next week. Commission based salary. On the interview confirmation, he advised the parking and validation. After I completed the asssement, I asked the receptionist to do the parking validation, she said only the recuriter can do that, but she cannot contact him…what strange is it! I paid the parking $8and go. They are located in a beautiful building, people wear very professional, but their working attitude is unprofessional. Never come back
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.

Initial meeting is to understand the prospective hire and meet the recruiting team and other principals. Second meeting is with CEO to get a marketing study completed along with some company history.
