      Marketing Representative Interview

      16 Mar 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New Acquisitions (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2016

      Interview

Pretty Brief. Not many questions asked. You can tell they stack a lot of interviews back to back. Its a person to person marketing company. Must be able to deal with lots of rejection. Its not for everyone. Mostly need to be young and inexperience to have the desire to succeed at this.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at New Acquisitions

      Interview

I applied online and received a call to schedule an interview two days later. I had recently graduated from college and was very excited to find a new opportunity. The job that I had initially applied for was a marketing representative with a starting salary of $35K. Although my interview went well, I was disappointed when I found out that the job that I was interviewing for was completely different from the one that I applied for online. The starting pay was $10/hr with possible commission and I almost took the job because I was very interested in starting my post-grad life. It just wasn't worth it for me to take it especially because I would have to relocate to Atlanta. Their job postings need to be more accurate and truthful.

Dear Reviewer, We are sorry to hear that you felt misled, the position you applied to has a guaranteed base salary or hourly pay plus bonuses and incentive opportunities offered weekly. The hourly pay starts off at a bare minimum of $10.00 an hour, with bonuses and incentives the average employee makes between $35,000 to $50,000 annually. Our postings do typically reflect this but we will definitely dive into this further to see if there is anything that may be misleading. Most employees make beyond hourly pay, we do not expect anyone to be content with the hourly pay and we offer incentives for a reason so that our employees can earn them. As far as relocation, we are typically seeking employees that are local to the area; thus unfortunately we don't cover relocation. Thank you for your feedback and we wish you the best of luck on your job search.
