I initially found out about the job through cyber coders and was told I was not qualified. I then contacted people I know in the industry, found a contact in the company and forwarded my resume directly to them. I was called within a few days for an initial interview. Was interviewed by the HR person as well as 2 potential counterparts. The interview was very comfortable and thought I would fit it quiet well. I was told they were talking to a number of candidates and they would get back to me. I followed up after a week and was invited to come back in to talk to the VP of marketing. I felt that interview went well, though he felt I was overqualified for the job and should consider becoming a financial planner. I told him I was willing to start from the ground up to gain the experience in the financial services world where I had little experience. It ended that they were going to decide over the next few weeks (it was early November at the time.)
Found out that they hired someone 2 weeks ago...did not have the courtesy or professionalism to contact me. Since then I have found out that is a hostile environment combined with the fact their is litigation pending. It would been a bad choice.
It all happens for a reason!
Avoid this company, as it's best year's are way behind them!
