Interview was in person. Strange office - their meeting room looked like a cheap/budget Miami Vice ocean theme with neon light background and a galaxy marble floor with wavy walls.
Anyway, had a quick conversation over the phone. Then they invited me to their office for an in person interview with a few individuals present. It went well enough for them to invite me in for a 2nd interview.
During the 2nd in person interview, spoke with a higher positioned individual who seemed to be someone who was in that role due to nepotism (the company's whole C-suite is cluttered with family members). They were a bit ignorant about higher tasks although they tried to ask technical questions. Also did not feel like a professional environment as he walked in with a backwards hat. Questions were easy, told me to send over references after leaving and then heard back a week later.
Received a rejection email. Asked for feedback a couple of times, received none. Quite strange and a bit of a waste of time, as all interviews feel these days.
Would not hold my breath about this company as they seem to have brand identity issues regardless whether their actual service is good or not.
