      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Nationwide (Columbus, OH) in Sept 2016

      Interview

Did not like this at all. I've had an internship with the company prior to getting this full time interview and was sure I wanted to work for this company. I only had one person on campus and I'm not even waiting on a response. There weren't any questions about me with the exception of one. He asked a lot of what he considered "abstract" questions to get to know how I think that I thought was just another word for irrelevant and I would have appreciated him getting to know me and my experience instead. I no longer want to be with this company.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nationwide (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2013

      Interview

I arrived at the building for the interview and was immediately taken into a room with two other candidates. The interview started off somewhat informally, with them asking us questions and letting us introduce ourselves but they were obviously noting how we acted. Before the interview, we were told to create a short presentation on "why we are a good fit for the job," and making these presentations to the other candidates and interviewers was next. This was followed by a technical interview and a problem solving skills interview. In between the technical interview and problem solving skills interview, they seat you in a room with recent graduates of the leadership rotational program who were working in their selected business units. You asked them questions and talked with them while in here, and while it seems very informal it's not - they are just trying to get you to open up so they can gauge your personality. After finishing both interviews, you are then notified that the interview is over and they walk you out.

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Nationwide in Mar 2012

      Interview

Sent in my resume then had a phone interview. All behavioral questions, fairly easy. Describe the benefits of being a privately held company. When were you a leader? Got acceptance to their super day in Columbus. A set of 5 half-hour rotations with more difficult case and technical questions. A set of this was a presentation given to a panel of interviewers and other applicants
