I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at National Life Group (Montpelier, VT) in Mar 2014
Interview
There was only one round of interview with two ladies from the actuarial department. Questions were quite basic and involved mostly behavior questions and going through my resume. It lasted around 30 mins and I had plenty of time to ask questions about their internship program. I prepared a lot of questions in advance and did thorough research on the company, so I guessed I managed to impress my interviewers.

Interview
The process was very smooth and the interviewers were nice to talk to. I applied online and then was prompted to complete a HireView interview and record myself answering questions. After this, I got an email about a zoom interview with some NLG employees. A little less than a week after I received a phone call with an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked standard interview questions to get to know you and how you work. They asked me about my resume and what work I did with previous jobs. Nothing too difficult to answer.

Interview
Invited to do a video screening with pre-recorded questions. Then was invited to do an video interview with the hiring managers. After the second interview, I waited two weeks before I had to reach out to the recruiter only to find out that they went in another direction. I understand things take time, but I saw a LinkedIn post the night before the interview that someone had secured the same internship. Definitely would never recommend NLG as they lack the decency to inform candidates of their status.
