National Instruments Channel Sales Manager interview questions

Applied for advertised position, HR team very good and scheduled an online interview for me a week later. Very surprised at interview that the hiring manager nor HR didn't attend the scheduled call and was left talking with another employee in same role to which i was applying. Someone I presume was asked to attend the call. Despite it being a very pleasant call, it was not an interview and I was left thinking this was a bit of a hash-up! After that call I didn't hear a thing, I was ghosted by HR and offered no explanation to the call or the next stages if any. I had background and product experience, linked in jobs suggested one applicant applied! Maybe they thought again on the role but at least could have said. This is a small industry and we do not go around ghosting applicants for senior positions. Very disappointed that a large company like this could act in such a way. If this is how candidates are treated I would be wary how employee's are treated.
