I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at National High Magnetic Field Lab
Interview
Not an equal opportunity facility. Women scientists are looked down upon, unless you have strong support in the back. Maybe they need men who can carry heavy stuff. Besides, over 90% coworkers are male, it is awkward for them to see a women scientist there. Job requirements clearly exclude people from certain countries, while it is a research facility not government department. Interview procedure was hypocritical, you can see through that "They will not hire you." So why bother waste each others' time? Guess its a combination of little candidate and high expectation.
