I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NEXT (Leicester, England) in May 2015
Interview
Filled out an online application that didn't require a CV, and was invited to a group interview a few days later. First they showed everyone a template of how to talk to a customer, then split us into 3 groups (about 8 people per group). Our group was given tests for Maths and English, then we had informal conversations with one of the supervisors. Finally, we had to call a customer and tell them there delivery would be late and offer to take off delivery charges as compensation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Informal questions about yourself and what you do, your hobbies and interests.
The interview process usually repeats the same questions in both of the two rounds, the first interviewer was very bubbly the second one was much more serious and stern. Overall the questions were good and as they do repeat they are checking to make sure you answer similarly.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NEXT in Jul 2024
Interview
Just a few questions after the assessments, not difficult at all. I remember doing a mock phone call after some maths test (basic percentages) but it wasn't hard, nothing to worry about.
