Panel interview with a writing assignment following the interview. The panel consisted of representatives from teams that marketing would work with regularly. The interview lasted an hour and it took about 6 weeks to receive an offer.

Position was opened to the public through Craigslist, but only offered to people who were currently volunteering or performing other functions in the museum.
Applications were directly turned into the coordinator of the exhibit. The only people interviewed were those who had a very high chance of getting the job. No one who turned in a Craigslist application got an interview.
I was notified to come in for an interview through email. It was made clear in the email I was going to be hired, and the interview was more of a formality.
The person who interviewed me is no longer employed there, and his replacement is much more stringent than he was.

Question 1
There were no truly difficult questions. If you have the interview, you are almost certainly well-acquainted with the museum's policies and procedures already. The only question that was even kind of difficult was along the lines of , "What should you do if a guest is dangerous or unruly?"
