First contact was made via email followed by an in-person interview with the director. All interviews were informal, but there were thirteen interviews (in-person, phone, panel) over a three month period followed by emails and phone calls reminding me to hang on while they work through the internal process. I finally received a nice call from the director telling me that they had decided to promote internally. A couple of weeks later the job was back on the NBC website with a title that would have a subsantially different salary with the same responsibilities.
