I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at N-able (Ottawa, ON) in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied through a job portal. Had initial call with the recruiter who called on phone out of the blue which was strange. Anyhow the recruiter sounded super excited and mentioned how a great fit I looked for the job. In the first call, recruiter mentioned to wrap the whole process till offer stage within a week. I had the first screening call with the hiring manager which was primarily about past experience. I was moved to the technical screening with 2 engineers few days later. They seemed unprepared and looked like asking questions while searching on internet. During this process, had probably talked to recruiter probably 5-6 times who always called out of the blue, and tried to sell the company and talked about how great people are, and how they treat each other well. I though the technical screen went well only to be ghosted afterwards. I tried to follow up over email but got no reply from recruiter. Very unprofessional as they seem to be selling the company on how great and courteous people are at N-able but can't treat their candidates with dignity.
