After applying, there were two rounds of forms to be filled out, tech stack and personality tests. After that, we had a 30-minute interview, which was professional but a total waste of time. The questions were silly and not tailored to the role or my background. I had read the reviews about the time-keeping and screen-tracking software they use, so I was ready when the recruiter asked about them. I didn't realize from others that they want that installed on a personal PC and not one assigned by the company. I declined and said I was unwilling to do so (which I'm sure is why I didn't get an offer). Also, they require not using a virtual background, which I think is invasive and pointless. The recruiter would have been much better suited to have a virtual background than the poorly hung MyAmazonGuy banner in the background.
