Initial phone interview with recruiter, followed by an in person interview. During the interview, It seemed liked they were more interested in hiring someone that would suck up to them. Interview felt more like a review, with lots of unnecessary behavioral questions and “what if situations.” It seems like they have a lot of work to do in their department, but it seems like they are more interested in hiring a friend rather than someone who can bring new ideas or collaboration. I’m glad they rejected me, I would’ve told them no regardless.
