I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Muck Rack (New York, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
An online interview followed up by request for a coding sample.
The interview seemed to go well, as a matter of fact, it went beyond the 30 minutes previously scheduled.
The interviewer requested a code sample for analysis, which is no problem to me given that I have an extensive portfolio on GitHub, with several projects in multiple programming languages.
After more than two weeks, I got no feedback whatsoever, thus I emailed the interviewer (tactfully and politely) inquiring about the status of my application.
No response whatsoever... I was snubbed... That's the kind of behavior that you would expect from a 12-year-old, not from an adult...
Well... Now that you know what's coming, I wouldn't advise you to waste your time with them...
I wouldn't have applied if I knew better, but I didn't have the benefit of having any information on them...

Question 1
General questions about software development processes and best practices.
Very helpful to see this feedback. We've adjusted some of our hiring processes since December so that we've become consistent in providing feedback to candidates in a timely manner.
