      Consultant Interview

      29 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Motive Power

      Interview

Brief phone interviews - final interview everyone was drinking. Pretty informal setting. Didn't seem like an interview at all. The group panel seemed like it was anyone that was working in the office that day. The type of work was confusing and I left without understanding exactly what it was that Motive Power did.

      Consultant Interview

      14 Apr 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Motive Power (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2021

      Interview

3 half our sessions, first one with HR, second with consultants, and third with leadership. About 10 people total. They were on time and polite. Questions asked were relevant to the job. They would send a list of people that would attend and the people who attended would be different, based on whoever is available. Interview process was slow, about a week between each. After I had the final round, I had good feedback from my agent. They told me they would get back to me by x date about an offer. Then x day would come and they would say they needed y more days to decide. They continued to do this for a month, continuously telling me I was still under consideration to keep me on the back burner. After a month the status updates stopped, never actually gave me a decision. Reading the Glassdoor reviews I was put off but needed work asap. Ended up finding something higher paying. In my experience, and not just with this company, if an offer is not extended within 2-3 business days, move on and keep looking.
