Recently went through a multi-stage screening process for a role that started with:
2 Easy + 2 Medium LeetCode-style coding questions as part of the screening test
Followed by an HR round
And then a Technical Interview
The screening test was unexpectedly tough — many of my peers couldn’t make it past. Fortunately, my preparation and problem-solving skills helped me stand out, and I advanced to the next stages.
The HR round went smoothly, and I felt confident about my performance in the technical interview as well. However, I wasn’t selected in the final round. The feedback I received was that "your background is not enough, and our selection process is very rigorous."
While the result was disappointing, I’m still proud of how far I got in such a competitive process. Every experience like this is a step forward — I learned a lot and will keep improving and aiming higher.
