Interview
Mailed by the HR to setup an appointment for a 30 minute interview by both the HR and the hiring manager. Interview lasted for approx. 25 minutes.
Questions by HR:
1. what do u know abt morningstar.
2. why do u want to work as a data analyst.
Questions by hiring manager:
1. have you worked n VB?
2. how would u rate ur Skills in SQL
3. Rate your skills on 1-10 for front end, middleware and backend
4.whats a hash table in c#
5.give me an example of many to many relationshp
6. how would u impement this is SQL.. using how many tables blah blah
7. how would you do the data modelling for it.
8. how do you go about learning a new programming language
9. tell me a case of conflict of decisions in team mates and how did u go about it during a project.

after being interviewed by the hiring manager I get to talk to talk to the HR again who asks me my $ expectation for the position.
easy-going, expect financial literacy and have base knowledge on financial markets and data. You need to prove being fluent in english and at least 2 other languages. received an offer within the next week

First round is a call from HR for a phone interview, then second round is a in person interview at their office, third round is another phone interview with one of their higher up managers.
