We are sorry you were disappointed with your interview process at MorningStar. To clarify, there was no texting during the interview. Our regional nurse was on her phone when you walked in, but upon finishing the conversation, she turned off the ringer and properly greeted you. And we are intentional about asking open-ended, critical thinking questions to give the applicant an opportunity to address the many aspects of right response to a resident fall (triage, first aid, medical intervention, notifications, environmental assessment, investigation, interventions to reduce reoccurrence or minimize injury, education, service plan adjustments, alert charting).
