I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
Very quick to make contact after application. Interview scheduled within a week. This was a new role and they were not really able to describe what the role responsibilities would be - was very vague. Interviewers were friendly enough and made a good impression in terms of what the culture would be like.

Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews with MS and got ghosted afterwards. They wanted to know about my subject-matter expertise and threw in a few soft-skill questions into the mix.
Always weird when you spend several hours talking to people and then don't receive any feedback whatsoever. Just poor manners.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview was quite casual and the questions were straight forward. It was clearly communicated in the interview that I would be a good fit for the role. After leaving, I had to follow-up over a dozen times over the course of a month to get feedback. Finally, after turning down other offers because I felt the position at Morgan Stanley would have been the best fit, I was informed that I did not receive the role due to lack of experience in a particular area, that was never presented as problematic in my interview with the hiring manager
