Three main sessions, one online coding around, one technological, and one final onsite. The final on-site interview contains three technical interviews and one manager interview. People are nice and willing to share their thoughts. I'm still waiting for my final feedback, wish me luck.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley

      Interview

I did my interview through a recruiter. We hopped on a zoom call and went at it for 2.5 hours, with 3 interviewers. First one was an hour long with a technical question. Second one was with my manager and it was another technical question Third one was an interview with a higher up, we just talked about things and he told me about the software they have.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Lets say you are given an input of [10,15,9,15,6] where 0...5 represents the days of the week. (10 -> Monday, 15 -> Tuesday, etc...) The idea was to find the largest difference given you buy on 1 day and sell on another day. The max difference in this example would be 6 Given a list of strings [“text”, “tet”, “xtet”, “tte”, “ttex”] group all the anagrams together and return it.

      Java/Scala Developer Interview

      26 Feb 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Dec 2020

      Interview

I had total 6 zoom interviews in the span of more than 2 months. They requested for 9 interviews and 3 of them either got postponed or cancelled because of various reasons like interviewer did not show up or person who scheduled interviews did not have an idea that I was already interviewed by that interviewer. All interviews were pretty much on the same thing as background, recent projects, one small coding problem (moderate one) and discussion about system design question and database. Though questions and discussions were good, but it was same repetitive process in all 6 interviews. I tried to contact recruiter many times about the structure of interviews like whether it is coding or not, IDE or white board, any specific skill set but never got single response about it except interview schedules. Pros: • Good interview questions • Focused more on thought process instead of single/ideal outcome. Cons: • No feedback neither after any of the interview nor at the end • No response from recruiter about hiring process or interview structure. • Repetitive interviews • Not even a rejection email after these many interviews
