      Sales Associate Interview

      12 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at More Than Words (Boston, MA) in Dec 2024

      Interview

They asked a lot of questions about race which felt odd to me. They talked about race a lot too. About 65% of the interview revolved around race. They asked about the demographics of my friends, among other things, that felt pretty inappropriate and borderline illegal (although to be fair I am not a legal expert).

      Interview questions [4]

      Question 1

What are the demographics of your friends?
      Answer question

      Question 2

Do you interact with people of different races?
      Answer question

      Question 3

What does diversity mean to you?
      Answer question

      Question 4

Are you comfortable with difficult conversations?
      Answer question
