I wasn't given a chance to showcase my skills at all, we just had a 10min intro call with the recruiter who basically asked about my latest role and then asked about some logistical questions. 2days later I got a rejection email.

The process is friendly, flexible and grounded in real-world challenges, so there was no need to cram binary-tree backflips just to pass interviews for a role that didn't need them.
recruiter contacted me via linkedin. recruiter did a phone interview with me and handed my cv to monzo. monzo arranged a phone interview with engineer. engineer asked about my previous experience especially with designing distributed systems.
