Received a phone call to schedule an in-person interviews with the hiring manager. Everything went well and was asked typical interview questions. I also asked some of my own questions.
I received an offer, but I turned it down. I applied and interviewed for an Utilization Management position but received an invitation to apply for another position under the hiring manager. They wanted me to take a pay cut for a lower-level position but my resume clearly shows that I'm at a mid-career level. Montefiore requires you provide 5 references including your current manager and then sends them a long online survey to rate your skills and abilities. They do think this is excessive and don't care that this could get you fired from your existing job. When I tried to negotiate salary, the HR recruiter said "not gonna happen". Their whole recruiting process is just so demeaning and dismissive. Everything from the slow response times to the non-negotiable low ball offers. I would not recommend.
