I understand that HR/recruiters are typically busy, but my experience with Mondelez fell short of basic expectations. Initially, I received an automated email confirming an interview with a recruiter, but the recruiter did not show up for the scheduled interview. After sending multiple emails, I received another automated message to reschedule, and the recruiter eventually showed up but never apologized. Following a few more rounds of the interview, I reached out to the recruiter for an update on my candidacy, as I had received an offer from another company. Despite several follow-ups, I never received a response. This left me in a difficult position, almost losing another offer due to the lack of communication, despite my enthusiasm for the opportunity with Mondelez. Even the shortest response with an update would have been greatly appreciated. Recruiters play a key role in shaping candidates' perceptions of a company, and a simple communication update could make a significant difference in candidates experience (for those who were at least interviewed). I wanted to share this feedback as a reminder that updates, even if brief (understanding they are always busy), can go a long way in maintaining a positive impression of the organization.
