The interview process was thorough and well-structured. It began with an aptitude and personality assessment, followed by a time-constrained online test with cloud-related multiple-choice questions and practical tasks.
I then had a recruiter screening focused on my experience, followed by a panel interview with team members and the CEO that combined behavioral and practical questions. The final stage was a work history discussion with the HR Manager and Head of Product, which also provided helpful insight into the company and its culture.
Overall, the process felt rigorous but fair, and interactions with everyone involved were professional and welcoming. I also had the opportunity to ask questions throughout the process, all of which were answered clearly. It left me with a positive impression of how the team approaches both technical and interpersonal aspects of the role.

Question 1
What do you bring to the company beyond your technical skills?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Moncel (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2025
Interview
It was one of the weird interview for sure. This is the first time (in my career of 8 years) that I received a take home which asks personality related questions vs coding. I seriously thought that I am interviewing for a customer service role vs senior software developer role.
The recruiter who reached out to me was nice and friendly but i think they need to update their interview process.
