I think this was the most confusing technical interview I ever have. The questions were off-topic and completely useless. Probably it's not a technical person who will read this first, so picture that: If you hire a driver for an Uber, you start to ask questions about motorcycles (???) The opportunity was about React, after 2hs of conversations and weird questions I raised the topic: "Do you have any React-related questions?" and I got back: "No, I don't care about React" WTF! Another weird topic during the interview, after the interviewer suggested a challenge I was trying to implement what he suggest... then after 3 minutes of coding I did a check-up on Google about one specific function and I immediately was warned by the interviewer: "You shouldn't check on internet". Even the top engineers check functions or concepts on the internet. I'm over 5+ in the TI market. I did many tech interviews, on both sides (as interviewer and applicant) it was a really confusing tech interview. I hope you guys improve it and "embrace change".
