My initial interview with HR occurred over a week after applying. I heard back around two weeks later to schedule the in-person interview, which consisted of three different panels (four team members, two higher-ups, and a one-on-one last). I genuinely enjoyed the conversations, and while it's a long process, it's not rigorous. I sent a thank you email, and HR informed me they hope to connect with the team soon. However, I never received any communication. Ghosting a final candidate is a bad look. It’s possible I will eventually receive a rejection email but considering the time and energy people dedicate to the interview process, the amount of time that’s passed reflects poorly on them. I think people should be aware that if you apply and move through the hiring process, there’s a chance you will not hear back.
