I applied online. I interviewed at Miller Baking Company
Interview
The interview process was unprofessional and insulting. It took several weeks to actually set up an interview. When I arrived to my onsite interview, the feeling was awkward and uncomfortable.
Management did not make me feel welcomed and during the interview, several members on their management team never made eye contact with me and seemed to text on their cell phone, while I explained my work experience. Honestly, I felt that my time was not respected and certain comments that where made about my background were unprofessional.
One of the team members referred to me as an “unskilled worker” and proceeded to explain how my machine operating experience isn’t a skill set because anyone is capable of performing the job responsibilities that I once did. This reference was very insulting and demeaning.
After speaking with current employees who work here, it seems that management is not professional and they experience high turnover. These employees also mentioned that current employees are not invested into the company because of poor leadership.
Their CEO does not invest proper training and professional development into employees. It feels like a churn and burn high stress environment.
I wouldn't recommend this company to any candidates, there are better manufacturing companies in the Milwaukee area who care about their employees and compensate them fairly. Don’t even waste your time with this company!
