Relaxed, friendly and comfortable. 2 people gave interview at same time. Gave plenty of job description information. Couldn’t offer pay yr/hr. That is done by the main office. Basically, the home office in Springdale looks over applicant the was selected, domes back ground check- with previous salary compensation that you USE TO GET PAID- and then will extend an offer to you if your selected for the position.
Don’t feel this “officer process “ is fair- personally. People change companies because they usually want more pay and know the value of the experience and knowledge of the position. Sooo, if your currently making only $11 an hr, or that’s what your “LAST JOB” paid you- they’d extend and offer of MAYBE $11.50-$12 and hour. When they know that position is worth paying $15-$20 and hr.
Made it feel like once the office extends an offer there is no room to negotiate you pay at all. Left with the feeling - if you don’t accept this offer- we will go the next person (the dinner-up) and extend an offer based on THIER work experience.
