I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Micron Technology (Boise, ID) in Apr 2024
Interview
A series of interviews was scheduled over about a month. First with a recruiter, then a personality check with a manager, then a technical with same manager, then three technicals with senior engineers, and finally a technical with a panel of engineers.
The interview process appears to be outsourced to an Indian company and was very opaque - no one knew what was really going on as far as the process goes. Interviews were scheduled with cold calls from an Indian call center.
The engineers who interviewed me seemed very sharp, but the process itself left a lot to be desired and was very slow to make a decision. I followed up after a month and was told keep waiting. Further follow ups were ghosted and 3.5 months later I got an automated email saying you're no longer being considered. Overall it was a good experience but I found the process too opaque/scammy and the ghosting/3 month delay was unprofessional.

Here's an example of a pipelined process. How would you write a formula to describe the length of time to do n cycles?
