This company GHOSTED me after doing a short take-home project and an interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter reached out to me asking me to complete a short take-home task and I was then invited to speak with the hiring manager. I got the feeling I was not the right fit for the job based on the job responsibilities the hiring manager described. I have not heard back, which I will take as a rejection and I understand because this was not a good fit. However, out of respect for the time I used to interview with them, I would have loved to receive some kind of communication after my interview.
