I applied online. I interviewed at Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Interview
I had an interview recently where the interviewers seemed unprepared for their roles. Their questions were vague and often outdated, making it difficult to gauge what they were really looking for. It was clear they lacked the qualifications or experience needed for a management or leadership position. This was a disappointing experience as it reflected poorly on the organization’s hiring process.

Interview
It was pretty straight forward, make sure you learn all about the job responsibilities and the program you will be a part of or will be working on. It will be a panel interview, where each one of them will ask their own set of questions,

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Metropolitan Transportation Authority (New York, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
The in-person interview involved five people, with two participating virtually. Interviews with MTA tend to be mechanical rather than conversational. While you answer their questions, they are actually writing down what you say, which can easily break your concentration. Feedback was tremendous. I was "exactly what they were looking for". Didn't get the job, though. But they were friendly people.

Question 1
Questions are literally about your experience regarding what the job requires. Simulations: Imagine we're setting up a booth. How would you go about doing that? Final questions was: Is there anything about yourself, that we did not ask, that you would like us to know?
